Logline: Veronica and Vinnie try to help David reconcile with his ex Beth and son Luke after he abandoned them, but their misguided attempts only create more chaos.

Episode Summary:

Veronica and Vinnie accompany a nervous David to Beth's apartment to apologize for abandoning her and their son Luke. Beth slams the door in David's face, still furious over his six-month disappearance. Realizing Luke uses crutches now, David's gift of an electric wheelchair only offends Luke more.

At the restaurant, a dejected David believes he can't fix things with Beth and Luke. Vinnie suggests a trip to Disneyland, unaware Beth is banned. Veronica and Leanne explain why it won't work. Desperate for a solution, Leanne buys Beth's childhood home to transform into their dream house.

When David finds Beth kissing her dentist Alan late at night, he interrupts and suggests the Disney trip again. Beth refuses and kicks him out, but Luke seems more receptive to reconnecting.

The next day, Leanne reveals she bought Beth's family home as a gift from her and David. David is stunned by his mother's generosity. At the rundown house, he gives Beth the keys, apologizing again and promising to renovate it for their family. Though touched, Beth remains guarded.

Back at Leanne's, Vinnie makes an excuse and abruptly leaves after getting a text. Veronica is bothered by this. Leanne urges her to finally confess her romantic feelings to Vinnie before he moves on. Veronica nervously agrees it's time.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger, with Veronica ready to declare her love to Vinnie after 30 years apart, hoping he will return her feelings despite his reputation as a ladies' man.
