Welcome to Week 2 of Stage 2 of the Early Milestones programme - Getting Faster at 5k


This stage is for those that can run 5k but want to be able to run it faster or more comfortably.


In this session, I talk about the importance of Patience through a warm-up pre-amble and then we move on to the main part of the session. The session is 30 minutes of running combined with some strength, balance, agility and co-ordination exercises designed with runners in mind. Stretches afterwards.


For the rest of this week aim to do a 35 minute run with 10 x 30s fast surges like we did in week one's recording and a 35 minute continuous easy run,. This is a minimum - if you already do more than that, stick to what you already do but make sure those components are included.
