Welcome to the Early Milestones programme - Stage 2 - Getting Faster (or more comfortable) at 5k.


This stage is for those that can run 5k but want to be able to run it faster or more comfortably.


This session is an intro to me, The Milestone Pursuit and the programme. It is also the first session which is 2 x 15 mins at an easy pace but each 15 minute run includes 5 x 40 second fast surge with stretches afterwards.


Through the session, we also cover goal setting and understanding why your goal is important to you. We will need this in the weeks to come!


For the rest of this week aim to do a 30 minute run/walk over a hilly route, and a 30 minute continuous easy run, this is a minimum - if you already do more than that, stick to what you already do but make sure those components are included.
