Lingering clouds Wednesday, then warmer and more showers Thursday
Description
After a few morning showers, clouds will mostly linger across southern Minnesota Wednesday. Thursday will bring warmer temperatures, but also the chance at more showers.
Lingering clouds but mainly dry much of Wednesday before more showers develop
We picked up some decent rainfall Tuesday and Tuesday night across southern Minnesota. Areas like Rochester picked up about 1 inch of rainfall and even some southern suburbs saw 0.50 to 0.80 inches. Unfortunately areas that need the rain the most — northern Minnesota — saw little measurable rainfall.

We’ll have lingering clouds most of the day in southern Minnesota. Look for a few peeks of afternoon sun. Northern Minnesota will see more in the way of sunshine. Afternoon highs will be mostly in the 50s.

Those showers will then lift north Thursday afternoon allowing for some sunny breaks to the south. More showers will develop Friday morning as a cool front moves through with the system.
