Description

Download the recording, plug your earphones in and listen to it on the run

It's 15 mins on an undulating loop - broken up as follows; 5 mins running the inclines hard everything else easy, 5 mins running the downhills hard everything else easy, 5 mins of running inclines AND downhills hard.

Then

5 sets of 40s hard uphill, jog back down, 30s hard uphill, jog back down, 20s hard uphill, WALK back down (for extra recovery at the end of each set) .

End

I recorded this in Epping Forest and it can be done on an hilly loop - Peanut at Springfield Park is ideal, Olympic Park loop will do, but you could also do it at Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park or even make it work at the Green Bridge in Mile End.

Timings

  • 15 min loops start at c12 mins
  • hill reps start at c 30 mins

Thanks everyone!

Steve
