Description

It is normal to compare yourself to others and perhaps feel jealous of them.

Comparisons can be beneficial at times. They can serve as a guide for progress and act as an inspiration.

But when you become fixated on your flaws rather than your strengths, sitting in self-pity rather than appreciating where you are, then you are focused on the wrong thing.

Understand that wherever you are right now, that’s where you’re supposed to be… And you have the power to always change that.

Stop comparing yourself to others and to past versions of yourself, unless it’s inspiring you, otherwise it is a struggle you’ll never win.

In this episode, I delve into appreciation vs. self-pity, why comparison is a losing battle, and the power of self-awareness.

Episode Quotes

"Appreciate where you are and how blessed you are rather than sitting in comparison and self-pity"

"Fighting against your past is always a losing battle."
