Story Transcript:

Sl: Svetloba se je prebila skozi razpokano okno, obarvajoč tla zapuščene skladišča v zlatih tonih zgodnje jeseni.
En: The light broke through the cracked window, coloring the floor of the abandoned warehouse in golden tones of early autumn.

Sl: Atmosfera je bila napolnjena z nostalgično skrivnostjo, kot da so stene same šepetale zgodbe iz preteklosti.
En: The atmosphere was filled with nostalgic mystery, as if the walls themselves whispered stories from the past.

Sl: Na pragu je stal Matevž, z rokami v žepih, skeptičen kot vedno.
En: On the threshold stood Matevž, with his hands in his pockets, skeptical as always.

Sl: Ob njem je stala njegova mlajša sestra, Jasna, radovedna in odločna.
En: Beside him was his younger sister, Jasna, curious and determined.

Sl: "Morala sva priti sem," je dejala Jasna.
En: "We had to come here," said Jasna.

Sl: "Oče je tukaj nekaj skrival.
En: "Father was hiding something here.

Sl: Morava izvedeti, kaj.
En: We must find out what."

Sl: "Matevž je vzdihnil in se ozrl okoli sebe.
En: Matevž sighed and looked around.

Sl: "Naj gre hitro.
En: "Let's make this quick.

Sl: Ne maram starih skrivnosti.
En: I don't like old secrets.

Sl: Želim nadaljevati.
En: I want to move on."

Sl: "Sklad je bil zaprašen, police visoke in polne pozabljenih strojev.
En: The warehouse was dusty, the shelves tall and full of forgotten machines.

Sl: Pristopila sta bližje, pazljivo izbirajoč korake, saj so tla škripala.
En: They approached closer, carefully choosing their steps, as the floor creaked.

Sl: Medtem ko sta hodila, so med njima vstajala stara nesoglasja.
En: As they walked, old disagreements arose between them.

Sl: Matevž se ni mogel znebiti občutka, da je njegova mlajša sestra preveč zaupljiva.
En: Matevž couldn't shake the feeling that his younger sister was too trusting.

Sl: Jasna pa ga je želela vključiti in odkriti očetovo skrivnost, ki je bila zakopana leta.
En: Jasna, on the other hand, wanted to involve him and uncover their father’s secret, which had been buried for years.

Sl: "Kaj misliš, da je skrival?
En: "What do you think he was hiding?"

Sl: " je previdno vprašal Matevž.
En: Matevž cautiously asked.

Sl: "Nekaj pomembnega.
En: "Something important.

Sl: Morda nekaj, kar mu je pomenilo vse," je odgovorila Jasna z iskrico upanja v očeh.
En: Maybe something that meant everything to him," replied Jasna with a spark of hope in her eyes.

Sl: Prisopihala sta do stare železna vrata na koncu velike sobe.
En: They puffed up to the old iron doors at the end of the large room.

Sl: Bila so polpriprta.
En: They were half open.

Sl: Ko sta vstopila, je Matevž s svetilko razkril očetovo staro pisarno.
En: As they entered, Matevž revealed their father's old office with a flashlight.

Sl: Police so bile polne map in škatel s starimi dokumenti.
En: The shelves were full of folders and boxes of old documents.

Sl: Jasna je začela brskati po papirjih.
En: Jasna began to rummage through the papers.

Sl: Nenadoma je naletela na skrivni predelek.
En: Suddenly, she stumbled upon a secret compartment.

Sl: Bil je skrit za omaro.
En: It was hidden behind a cabinet.

Sl: Srce ji je poskočilo od vznemirjenja.
En: Her heart leaped with excitement.

Sl: "Poglej to!
En: "Look at this!"

Sl: " je vzkliknila in potegnila škatlo na dan.
En: she exclaimed and pulled out a box.

Sl: Matevž je opazoval z zanimanjem.
En: Matevž watched with interest.

Sl: V škatli sta našla stare fotografije, pisma in potni list z drugim imenom.
En: In the box, they found old photographs, letters, and a passport with a different name.

Sl: Matevž je začutil, da gledajo v očetovo življenje, ki ga nikoli nista poznala.
En: Matevž felt like they were looking into a side of their father’s life they never knew.

Sl: Jasna je strmela v dokaze, njene oči so se počasi napolnile s solzami.
En: Jasna stared at the evidence, her eyes slowly filling with tears.

Sl: "Kdo je bil oče v resnici?
En: "Who was father really?"

Sl: " je tiho vprašala.
En: she asked softly.

Sl: "Ne vem," je Matevž skomignil z rameni, a tokrat z nežnejšim tonom.
En: "I don't know," Matevž shrugged, but this time with a gentler tone.

Sl: "Morda se morava naučiti, da je bil več kot samo oče.
En: "Maybe we need to learn that he was more than just a father."

Sl: "Skupaj sta se usedla in začela prebirati pisma, ki so osvetlila očetovo življenje.
En: Together, they sat down and began reading the letters that illuminated their father's life.

Sl: Bilo je polno skrivnosti, a tudi ljubezni in skrbi.
En: It was full of secrets, but also love and care.

Sl: Spoznala sta, da njuna preteklost ni bila tako enostavna, a hkrati je skrbela in ljubila bolj, kot sta si mislila.
En: They realized that their past was not as simple, but at the same time, it cared and loved more than they thought.

Sl: Ko sta zapuščala skladišče, sta Matevž in Jasna vedela, da je njun odnos dobil novo obliko.
En: As they left the warehouse, Matevž and Jasna knew their relationship had taken a new shape.

Sl: "Pomembno je, da ne glede na vse, ohraniva našo družinsko vez," je rekla Jasna s toplim glasom.
En: "It's important that, no matter what, we maintain our family bond," said Jasna warmly.

Sl: "Strinjam se," je odvrnil Matevž in prvič po dolgem času objel svojo sestro.
En: "I agree," replied Matevž and, for the first time in a long time, hugged his sister.

Sl: "Morda naju čakajo še druge skrivnosti.
En: "Maybe other secrets await us.

Sl: A zdaj imava to skupaj.
En: But now we have this together."

Sl: "Skupaj sta hodila, s pogledom usmerjena naprej, pripravljena nadaljevati in raziskati očetovo zapuščino, ne glede na to, kakšna bo.
En: They walked together, looking forward, ready to continue and explore their father's legacy, no matter what it would be.

Sl: Bili so lističi jesenskih spominov, ki so padali okoli njiju, a tokrat sta jih znala sprejeti, saj je njuno skupno potovanje šele začelo.
En: There were autumn leaves of memories falling around them, but this time they knew how to embrace them, as their shared journey had just begun.
