Hi everyone this is Cristin and this is episode 47. Some exciting news, is I’m about ½ way finished with a hypnotherapy course I’m taking, so pretty soon I’ll be offering 1:1 hypnotherapy sessions written specifically for you and your needs.
I’ve been wanting to take a course for quite some time now but keep putting it off like it was silly for me to want to do… i just want to say.
Whatever you’re working on in your own lives, never stop learning. Take the classes that you think you’ll enjoy, the ones that bring you excitement. I think most of the time we are trying to do what we should do, rather than what we want to. So if you’re hearing this, this is your sign to take the course or class that brings you joy.
Today’s episode and intention is I am letting go of habits that no longer serve me. I think we all know when it comes down to it, the habits, routines or mindless acts that are holding us back. Maybe it’s empty calories, or smoking. Maybe it’s over sleeping to escape the day. Maybe it’s mindless eating to cope with various emotions. Grab your journal; let's write down your dreams that you want to achieve and notice if there’s anything holding you back. It can even be a negative mindset, over indulging in media, foods, drinks, etc. Once you write those down, think about what you want instead. What are some new thoughts, habits, rituals that will help bring you closer to your dream life? Is it getting up earlier, letting go of weekend indulging, taking a break from social media or news? You’ll know what's right for you.
Take a moment to settle in, releasing any tension in your body. Stretching and moving in any way to get comfortable. Circling your neck and your shoulders, gently twisting from side to side, releasing any tension in your back. Leaning into your hips to release tension there, and wiggling out your leg, ankles, arms, wrist fingers and toes. Unclench your jaw, release your forehead, close your eyes and take a deep breath in and out.
I am letting go of habits that no longer serve me, I can see myself now, changing my path, replacing any habits that are holding me back with new positive, healthy ones that are going to propel me forward.
I see myself choosing health with ease, I see myself choosing self care with ease. I see myself being mindful throughout the day.
I am letting go of things that are blocking me, I am letting go of things that are distracting me, I am letting go of what’s holding me back. I am in charge of my future by making the changes I need to starting today.
I am relaxing and connecting more to my higher self…
I can see myself up ahead in time, later today, later this week and later this year…
See the old habits that are holding my back, pushing them off to the side and replacing with you positive, healthy, uplifting habits.
I see myself practicing a moment of peace and mindfulness checking in, before making decisions or reacting. I am more aware and conscious of the thoughts and actions I choose in this life.
Breath in and out…
Take a few moments to yourself visiualizing yourself this week, this month and the rest of this year, stepping into these new habits with ease, enjoying the journey and making yours reams come true. See yourself in a life that is healthy, safe, stable, mindful and full of gratitude.
