Sk: Bratislava žiarila vianočnými svetlami, ako keby hviezdy samy zostúpili na zem.
En: Bratislava glowed with Christmas lights, as if the stars themselves had descended to earth.
Sk: Vôňa škorice a pečených gaštanov sa miešala s chladným jesenným vzduchom.
En: The scent of cinnamon and roasted chestnuts mingled with the cool autumn air.
Sk: Vianočný trh bol plný ľudí, ale bol tu pocit priateľstva a radosti, ktorý prekonával zimu.
En: The Christmas market was crowded, but there was a feeling of friendship and joy that overcame the cold.
Sk: Janko po rokoch strávených v zahraničí kráčal po hlavnom námestí.
En: Janko, after years spent abroad, walked across the main square.
Sk: V rukách mal horúci punč, ktorý ho príjemne zohrieval.
En: In his hands was hot punch, which pleasantly warmed him.
Sk: "Tu si!
En: "Here you are!"
Sk: " zvolala Miroslava, ktorá sa objavila z davu.
