Our chats will be just very conversation not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable. They say time flies when you’re having fun and that’s sure been the case with this SEA AND BE SCENE adventure – I can’t believe it’s been more 14 years since I first connected and featured today’s guest during his time as a camera operator for the SYFY/Showcase series HAVEN. In all the year’s that have past I’ve been out here celebrating his work behind the camera and steadycam and as director of photography too, but now with so many projects set to premiere – like WE WERE LIARS on Prime Video June 18th, STARMAKER ACADEMY on Bell FibeTV1 June 19th, and WASHINGTON BLACK on Disney+ July 23rd – I couldn’t wait enough minute to catch up so you best believe we’ll be talking about ALL of those amazing productions and so much more, including how he got started in the industry and the wonderful perspective he gets on set looking through the lens of the camera. We’ll also talk about the incredible strides he’s making in promoting his homeland of Cape Breton as a fantastic location to shoot, and we’ll get the inside scoop on his forthcoming comedy series and the talented team he’s got working behind the scenes. Plus, we’ll get to 1st Things First, play a long overdue round of INsights IN 10 and even spin some of his favourite tunes within the hour. So with all that ahead, we best get to it.
